A very popular content has been implementation of truly engaging and students centered PBL (elements of Finnish Phenomenon-Based Learning can be included). These sessions are always engaging and participants walk away with better theoretical understanding and strategies for classroom practice.

In these sessions Petteri will offer insights to and facilitate conversation on the role of administrators in promoting, cultivating and managing school- or districtwide pedagogical development.
Gather a group of students that will attend “Petteri’s classroom” for two hours. Teachers are invited to observe, how Petteri uses engaging pedagogical strategies that enhance learning of communication and collaborations skills. He also encourages the students to take these strategies to their classrooms.

Implementation of 21st Century pedagogy can be scary for some parents. We need to get them on board. In these sessions Petteri can offer firsthand experience for the parents on what such pedagogy looks like in the classrooms. This session can also be titled “At the Intersection of Pedagogy and Parenting”, where Petteri’s presentation and workshop activities revolve around his experiences in using his professional methods in parenting.
It is valuable to run a session for the Board to help them understand the basis of the training given to the teachers and administrators.
